What is live in the copy, and what is still a draft.

Drafted 10 October 2026. Public pages state product behaviour as it will ship. This page is noindex and is not in the sitemap. Placeholder badges are only for the rows that are still drafts.

Must ship before public launch

These four are written on the public site as live features. They are not in the shipping app yet. There is no public Placeholder badge. Do not launch the marketing site as final until each one is true at iot.factoraerp.com.

IdFeatureWording on the public siteWhat has to be true
alert-channelsWhatsApp, SMS and email alertsAlerts go out on WhatsApp, SMS and email, and they escalate if the person on shift does not take them.Ship WhatsApp, SMS and email delivery with escalation before public launch. Send a test to a Kenyan handset and record the sender ID.
work-orderAlarm opens a work orderAn alarm opens a maintenance work order on its own, assigned to the shift, instead of waiting for someone to retype it.Ship automatic work-order creation from an alarm before public launch. Maintenance work orders, the calendar, plans, MTBF and cost already exist; this flag is only the automatic step from the alarm.
batchBatch temperature record and PDFTemperature records stay on the batch that was in the room, and the plant can produce a PDF compliance report from them.Ship batch-linked temperature records and the PDF compliance report before public launch. Production batch traceability (planned, produced, good, reject, downtime Pareto, production events) already exists; this flag is the temperature history and the PDF.
costCost on the batchSpoilage, energy and downtime land on the batch in finance, in the same record as the lot.Ship cost and finance linked to the batch before public launch. Maintenance cost as a maintenance figure already exists; this flag is the finance link onto the batch.

Still placeholder

These are still drafts. A public Placeholder badge appears only when the site is built with PUBLIC_SHOW_PLACEHOLDERS=true. The production default hides that badge, and it hides the placeholder WhatsApp number. Prices stay on the page either way. Email, address, PLC brands, gateway make and model, support hours, and hosting region are in this list.

IdLabelWording on the siteHow to confirm
plcPLC brandsThe connector list includes PLC. No brand is named until a unit of that brand has been read.Record model, protocol and the node or register map after a real read. Do not publish a logo before that.
hardwareGateway make and modelMake, model, radio, enclosure and who owns the gateway are not published. Buffering when the cloud link drops is separate, and that behaviour is in the app.Name the SKU, radio, enclosure, power, SIM owner, and whether hardware is sold, rented or customer-supplied.
installWho installsWho comes to site, in which counties, and how long a four-probe cold room takes are not published.Confirm who installs, the counties covered, and what the plant must prepare.
supportSupport hoursSupport is from the FactoraERP team in Kenya. The hours, and which channel answers a 2am cold-room alert, are not published.Publish hours and the channel that is answered, including a 2am cold-room alert versus a billing question.
pricingExample pricesDraft software fees for discussion, inside the usual USD 30–250 per device per month band for this category. Not a quotation. Tiers are example fees, not a signed feature matrix.Replace with the signed price list. Keep shillings and dollars together, and define what counts as a device.
billingBilling termFigures are shown per month. Whether a plant is billed monthly, annually or per site is not confirmed.Confirm invoice currency, term, what an offline probe costs, and the notice period.
fxDisplay exchange rateUSD figures are shown against a round rate of 129 Kenya shillings. This is not a live foreign-exchange feed.Use the rate finance wants on the quotation, or bill in one currency only.
emailPublic emailhello@factoraiot.comReplace with a mailbox that is monitored. The contact form and the mailto fallback both use it.
whatsappWhatsApp number+254 700 000 000Replace with the real FactoraERP IoT WhatsApp number. Digits only, country code, no plus, in whatsappE164.
addressStreet addressStreet address not confirmedPublish a real Nairobi address, or keep the country line only. Do not invent a building.
certificationsCertificationsNo KEPHIS, KEBS, ISO, SOC or GDP certificate is claimed for FactoraERP IoT.If a certificate exists, publish the name, number, scope and date. Until then this stays a non-claim.
uptimeUptimeNo uptime percentage is published, and no public status feed is connected.Connect a status provider, or publish a measured figure with the window it covers. Do not invent a nines number.
hostingHosting regionThe host, the region, and whether an on-premise option exists are not confirmed for the IoT app.Name the provider and region. Say whether readings live in the same FactoraERP tenant the plant already has.
