Alerts
A warning nobody owns is just noise.
The failure mode is familiar: a siren the shift learns to ignore, or a message that has scrolled by morning. FactoraERP IoT keeps every alert on one list, and stores the name of the person who took it.
Tap, name, resolve
Tap a card to acknowledge it. The person's name is stored on the alert, not a role code. From the same card you can Resolve it, or open Ask about this. Works on desktop, tablet and phone. The capture is the Demo food plant: a warning on process-line availability, and door warnings from cold storage. Demo food plant at iot.factoraerp.com. Telemetry is simulated. Not a customer.
Out of the app, and into a job
Alerts go out on WhatsApp, SMS and email, and they escalate if the person on shift does not take them.
An alarm opens a maintenance work order on its own, assigned to the shift, instead of waiting for someone to retype it. Maintenance already has the calendar, the work orders, the preventive plans, MTBF and the cost. The alarm is what opens the job.
If the buyer needs the excursion on the lot, the temperature record stays on the batch and the plant can produce a PDF. Read the compliance page for the columns, and remember the table there is a sample layout.
