Why a separate site

FactoraERP is a manufacturing operating system: production, inventory, quality, finance and the rest. The IoT page on that site is one module among many. A cold-room manager should not have to learn the whole ERP to decide whether the sensor floor is worth a meeting. factoraiot.com is that explanation. The product you sign in to is still iot.factoraerp.com. The company site is still factoraerp.com.

What we will say about ourselves

The company is Kenyan. The buyer we write for runs a plant, a packhouse, a dairy reception or a store in East Africa, and thinks in shillings. We publish example prices because hiding them wastes the first call. We publish placeholders because inventing a protocol, a gateway or a customer would waste the second.

We do not publish a headcount, a founding year we have not put on the parent site, or staff names. The founding customer programme is the public offer. If you want the people, book the demo. You will meet them there.

What “illustrative” means

Floor, map, alerts, dashboards and production on this site are screenshots of the Demo food plant at iot.factoraerp.com. Telemetry there is simulated. It is not a customer. The batch temperature report is still a drawn layout, labelled as one. The acknowledger’s name on the alerts capture is not published.

Prices, contact details, PLC brands, gateway make and model, support hours and hosting region stay in src/data/site.ts. The public site does not badge them. The review list is the checklist, including what has to ship in the app before this site is treated as final.
